ENDLESS SUMMER ESSENTIALS

Endless Summer Essentials.JPG

As we wind down with the last of summer’s radiating heat, it’s time to enjoy the simplicity of the season. I may not have spent August sipping negronis in Italy, but I plan to look like I did, at least until back-to-school kicks in. Whether a staycation is in order, or a long beach weekend is ahead, opt for a low-key, natural look, à la Under the Tuscan Sun

Rose Geranium Deodorant – Meow Meow Tweet

Trust me, this stuff works. Dubious at first, I’ve found myself wearing this natural deodorant all summer, through heat waves, subways, beach trips, you name it – it’s stood up to the test and is pretty much the perfect size for carry ons.

Shiseido Eyelash Curler

An endless summer look practically mandates wide open eyes, and this eyelash curler from Shiseido is one of the best tools out there. For best results, use before applying mascara, and blow some hot air with your mouth to give it a little heat.

Gold Eyeliner Sephora Collection

Add some classy shimmer with a gold eyeliner. Subtlety is key for me, and eyeliner is just enough to not be overly glittery or obvious.

Kjaer Weis Mascara

This natural mascara is perfect for achieving a “natural” makeup look. It’s clump free and gives eyelashes surprising heights.

Glossier Cloud Paint

It wouldn’t be the end of summer without a touch of rosy cheeks. I wipe Dusk as a base layer along my cheekbone, and then use a dab of Haze in my apples.

Replica Flower Market

Top it all off with a spritz of Flower Market and pick a flower for an evening stroll.
